N	(1)  The lapel of a coat next to and hidden beneath the row of buttons: 右衽 to button coat on the right-hand side; 左衽 button it on the left-hand side, as the barbarians do; 斂衽 (of a man or woman) formerly, salute by gathering up the folds of the coat before bowing. (2)  The sleeves of a coat. (3)  A sleeping mat: 衽席 a place where one sleeps.
