(2)  To execute: 斬首 [zhan3shou3]↓; 斬立決 sentence to be beheaded immediately.
Words	1.斬決 [zhan3jUe2], v.t., to execute (criminal).  2.斬首 [zhan3shou3], v.t., to behead.  3.斬衰 [zhan3cui1], v.i., (in extreme mourning prescribed for death of parents) wear merely cut but unhemmed hemp cloth.
