FinDescriptive of a situation similar to Eng. “in it” or “there” at end of sentence: 心不在 one's mind is not in it;
有人 there is a man there;
其心休休 his mind was contented;
sometimes gives a sense of completion: 名不稱 one's name is not known;
芻蕘者往 the woodcutters went (there or to him, etc.);
眾好之必察 if many like it, one should look into it. (Usu. unaccented as fin. part.)
Adv(1)  (LL) how? (similar to 安): 能,可 how can? 得 how could? 用 what is the need to use? 知 how does one know?
(2)  (AC) then (=modn. 然後,乃): 能治之 (=乃能) and then could set it in order;
始乘舟 and then take the boat.
