(2) To think of, to remember (oft. followed by adv., 到，起): 虧你想得到 how good of you to think of it;

想我母親 am thinking of my mother;
回想 remember, recall (a past event), think back (of old days);
想錢 think of, be preoccupied with money;
想個事做 think of s.t. to do;
想點辦法 think of some way to do it;
想起一件事 suddenly remember one thing.
(3) To wish, have a mind to: 我想去 I want to go;
想不去 don't want to go;
想要[xiang3yao4]↓;
我想到別處去 I am thinking of going elsewhere.
(4) Short for“I think,”“I suppose”: 想是車誤點了 I think the train is late;
想必有緣故 I think there must be a reason;
想有問題 I am afraid there might be some hitch;
想他不肯 I believe he will not consent.
2.想起 [xiang3qi3], n., recall (some past event, or s.t. forgotten).
3.想著 [xiang3zhe0], v.i. & t., pres. p. of 想 in all senses, see V.i. &t.↑: 我想著他 I am always thinking of him; 想著去又想著不去 thinking of going one moment, and not going the next.
4.想見 [xiang3jian4], v.i., (1) (LL) imagine:想見其為人 imagine what he was like; (2) wish to see (s.o.).
5.想來 [xiang3lai2], phr., after thinking, I suppose, I imagine: 想來是家裡有人病了 I suppose somebody at home is sick; 想來真不應該 when I come to think of it, I really should not have done it.
6.想念 [xiang3nian4], v.t., remember, long for (person, home).
7.想像 [xiang3xiang4] v.i. & n., to imagine, -tion: 想像力 imaginative power; 想像文學 imaginative literature.
8.想頭 [xiang3tou0], n., (1) a thought, idea (＝念頭)：你有這些想頭 you have such ideas; (2) hope,wish: 沒想頭 (the matter) is hopeless, there's no more use thinking.
9.想望 [xiang3wang4], v.i., (1) to hope to, that; (2) (LL) admire：天下想望風采 you are the admiration of the world.
10.想要 [xiang3yao4], phr., want to, feel like: 想要回家 want to go home.
