V	(1)  To kill as punishment for crime: 誅戮 [zhu1lu4]↓; 伏誅 was executed; 天誅地滅 (a curse) may (person) be destroyed by the gods. (2)  To invade or fight (country, regime) for alleged transgressions, to “punish” by war. (3)  To scourge with words: 誅心，誅意 [zhu1xin1], [zhu1yi4]↓. (4)  (LL) to cut (grass): 誅茅.
