Introduction to a Web Site - Yahoo - Business and Economy

I would like to introduce the World Wide Web site "Business and Economy" to you and also, all BBA student since I find it useful to BBA major student including me. Its location is http://www.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/.

This WWW site provides useful and the latest information of business and economy to different kinds of viewers. The information is classified into many categories such as Business school, Management information, Markets, Empolyment, etc.

Business school gives details of famous business schools all over the world: the environment of the school, the admission information, the facilities, etc. Student who want to study aboard can make good use of these data. It helps student to choose a suitable school if they can have the information in hand before.

Management information system contains conferences and seminars conducted by Universities in other countries. Not only lecturers in universities but also student who are writing thesis can search various information here. Certainly it will be very useful to me, some years later when I need to write thesis.

Employment is the one I found most useful to me. It teaches viewers how to write a standard resume. It said if your resume isn't a winner, it's a killer. you never get a second chance to make a first impression. It is very true and it teaches in a quite detail way. Many examples are included. Maybe it can be a supplement to our course?

Market is an electronic classified post. It displays jobs vacancies for people to look for. However, you may find it useless because the jobs in HK are not included. I hope the market in HK will be included soon.

This site is mainly for business and economy and may not have close relationship with others. But HK is such a world business centre that knowing more about business is surely good for you. I hope you can find this site fruitful.
