V	(1)  To grope for, feel by groping motion, rub gently: 摸臉 gently feel (child's) face; 摸摸她的手 gently feel her hand; (coll. *[mao1]) 混水摸魚 fish in troubled waters. (2)  (Fig.) search for, try to get at: 摸不著門兒 cannot find the proper approach; 摸不清 cannot understand what it is all about; 摸不著頭緒 cannot find the key or order in the whole thing; 這個人一天到晚到處摸錢 his fellow is trying all the time and everywhere to get at some money.
