V	(1)  To beat with a stick or fist: 搥胸 beat upon the breast; 搥打 to buffer or pommel (person), lay on blows; 搥鼓 to beat drum; 搥他一頓 give him a beating. (2)  To give a series of rapid gentle taps in massage: 搥肩，搥背，搥腰 massage or tap the shoulder, back, waist.
