(2)  Showing doubt, hesitation, questioning mood: 不會吧 I don't think it could be that; 不是吧 I doubt it; 沒有來過吧 you have never been here, have you? (3)  Marking an alternative supposition: 不去吧，他要怪我們 on the other hand, if we don't go, he will blame us; cf. 罷 41.70.
